Description
Brantwood is the former home of Conison's most famous resident John Ruskin and forms part of a great day out that includes the Ruskin Museum plus a trip on the Gondola and afternoon tea in Jumping Jenny's cafe within the grounds of the house.

The view from the various terraces at Brantwood is arguably one of the best in the Lakes, taking in Coniston Old Man and a large sweep of the lake itself.

Between 10th March 2008 and 16 th November 2008 Brantwood is open daily 11am until 5.30pm.
