broadoaks_weddings_2.jpgAt Broadoaks hotel we have an experienced team who have organised, catered and delivered some of the most memorable wedding days imaginable in one of the most beautiful venues in the Lake District. Our team will work with you to help plan your special day.

With 15 beautiful en-suite bedrooms, the hotel really is an idyllic retreat in which to accommodate friends and relatives during your wedding celebrations.

We have compiled a comprehensive guide to weddings on our website so please click on the link at the top of the page or read on first.
You may have lots of questions about your wedding and although we have several different wedding options at the hotel we find that every wedding is different. We will always do our best to accommodate your exact requirements so please feel free to contact our wedding co-ordinator who will be happy to talk you through the options available.
Whilst most wedding couples look to book their wedding date about 12 months in advance, we are happy to arrange weddings in shorter time scales and even have some reduced rates available for last minute wedding dates.


Smaller Wedding Parties
We arrange lots of smaller wedding at Broadoaks each year. As the hotel has lots of intimate areas, smaller wedding parties are equally as special at Broadoaks.
For weddings from 2 to 24 people our non-exclusive use wedding options would probably be most suitable for you however it is still possible to select one of our exclusive use options if you prefer.
With smaller wedding parties, a private dining area can be arranged for the wedding meal and we will of course offer you an exclusive area where the ceremony will be held and where only you and your guests will be in attendance.
You are welcome to book up to a maximum of 8 guest bedrooms all of which would be charged at our standard tariff rates.
In addition a room hire charge would apply for the ceremony at £550 for a weekend wedding (Friday / Saturday) and £400 for a midweek (Sunday to Thursday inclusive) wedding date.
This charge will still apply if you request an outdoor wedding as we will always have an indoor space reserved just in case the weather is not so good on the day.

Exclusive use weddings
Broadoaks is available for exclusive use at most times. The main benefit with this type of booking is that no other members of the public (apart from the ones at your wedding) will be allowed to use the hotel.
For such an important occasion we advise that an appointment is made to discuss your requirements in detail. Alternatively come and spend the night at Broadoaks, join us for dinner and we will give you a special discount to make it worth your while.
The hotel and the services we offer will be exclusively yours for the duration of your booking. We offer two main exclusive use options:

Tailor Made Weddings
(available anytime, subject to availability)
With our tailor made wedding option we will work closely with you to arrange your perfect day. Every detail is considered and we will tailor make a wedding to your exact requirements. From specific menu options to evening entertainment choices your whole day will be carefully planned from start to finish.

Wedding in a box
(only available Sunday to Thursday, subject to availability)
We often find that wedding couples want to arrange the perfect day whilst keeping a close eye on the total cost and minimising the complexity that comes with organising a wedding. Our ‘wedding in a box’ is the perfect solution. It offers an all inclusive option for your wedding day. As these packages have offer incredible value for money they are only available for midweek wedding dates.

Renewal Of Vows
Remember your wedding day? Perhaps it was quite a number of years ago, perhaps not so long, but the commitments you made are still the same.
The love you share and the feelings you have are also something to be very proud of, so why not re-affirm your vows in Cumbria with a ceremony and reception in a very special venue in the Lake District?  Ceremonies can be arranged from 2 to 60 people in the hotel or around the grounds.
