Description Brookwood is one half of a substantial Edwardian property. In 2008 it was lovingly and sympathetically renovated by the owner (who lives next door), retaining many of its period features. It is located on a private drive, with Lake Windermere, shops, restaurants and many other attractions within five minutes walk.  The Dales Way begins a few hundred meters away at the top of Brantfell Road; with the view points of Post Knott, Brantfell, and Biskey Howe all within an easy walk. Membership of Parklands Leisure Club is also included to add to your holiday enjoyment. The Kitchen  The kitchen is newly fitted and well-equipped, containing: washing machine, tumble dryer, fridge freezer, dishwasher, ceramic hob cooker and all required kitchen equipment. The Dining room  An elegant room which has the original wooden floor, good-sized table, and sideboard. The Living room The living room is a large room with high bay windows over-looking the garden. The gas fire is in the original surround. A TV, DVD player, and an assortment of games are provided for your entertainment. The furnishings are very comfortable and well coordinated. The Master Bedroom The master bedroom is very spacious with a king-sized bed, large wardrobes and a number of cupboards. This room has two windows, one of which has lovely lake views. This room is coordinated in colours of red and cream. The “L” shaped single room contains a single bed and an oak chest of draws. This room is coordinated in colours of cream and black. The large twin room to the rear of the property over-looks the drive and trees. This room has an arched feature window and is coordinated in turquoise and cream. The downstairs Shower room is off the entrance hall, with shower, WC and washbasin.
