Cinemas in The lake District

lake district cinemas

There are around a dozen or so cinemas in the Lake District, ranging from individual Art Deco buildings to cinemas attached to restaurants to multiplexes.

Look out too for local film clubs showing "world movies" usually on certain nights at selected cinemas.

We still have cinemas here where "the ice cream lady" appears with her tray of wares during the interval.

All the latest films are available but in high season it will pay to book - tell them that you found them on Discover The Lakes.
