Farmers Markets
Fresh Lake District Farmers Market Produce
If you are in self catering accommodation there is no better place to source Cumbrian local produce than a Farmers Market.
Locally reared meat including tasty Herdwick Lamb, Cartmel Sticky Toffee Pudding, Morecambe Bay Shrimp and Smoked Trout from the trout fishery are just some of the foods to be found.
Currently there are farmers markets in:
Kendal Market Square (last friday of the month)
Keswick by the Moot Hall (2nd thursday of the month)
Milnethorpe (second friday of every month)
Pooley Bridge (last sunday of the month)
Ulverston New Market Street (3rd saturday of the month)
