Description The Nook & Cranny Our self catering holiday apartments are full of cosy charm  and character and conveniently situated close to both  resort villages of Windermere and  Bowness. The Nook and Cranny provide the perfect retreat from which to explore the English Lake District. The Nook Recently renovated to a very high standard you will find The Nook provides very comfortable accommodation for holidaying couples. Ideally located just a short 5 minute stroll outside the Villages of Windermere and Bowness means we can also offer our guests peace and quiet. A double bedroom with Kings Size ornate bed, high vaulted ceilings and Velux windows provide a light and airy room. A cot can be provided on request. Bathroom with in bath shower. Cosy lounge to nestle into in the evenings provided with a 26” flat screen TV & DVD player with library and SKY channels, WiFi also available. Spacious ground floor open plan and fully fitted kitchen /dinning area, facilities include washing machine, fridge, dishwasher and microwave. Front door leads out to your own private patio area, a sun trap in the mornings and great for al-fresco breakfasts. Sorry we can’t guarantee the Sun obliging.   All bed linen and towels provided and a mid week cleaning and  laundry service offered. The Nook is entirely private from the attached owner’s accommodation and has exclusive use of own  car park space Tariff Full week prices range from £280 (low season) to £500 (high season) February short breaks (min 3 nights) at 375 per night. CHECK AVAILABILITY HERE The Cranny Inspired by the success of the “Nook” the “Cranny” is our second self catering holiday apartment. This style of accommodation combines the best of both worlds with added convenience of facilities for light food preparation whilst guests take full advantage of our many local restaurants most of whichcome highly recommended and within easy walking distance. Ideally suited for couples we have found this type of accommodation to be increasingly popular providing a very comfortable and convenient base from which to strike out and explore the rest of the Lake District. Bedroom with double bed and storage, all bedding and linen provided. Bathroom double ended bath and in bath shower, towels provided. Kitchenette/diner providing facilities for the use of light food preparation includes sink, fridge microwave, toaster, kettle, utensils, cutlery, cups and plates. Please note No cooker. Lounge area with double sofa bed offering further sleeping for up to two people, Ipod station & large 32inch screen TV with DVD player for your own entertainment. Welcome hampers available to get you started please ask for a quote this can be practical, luxury or both Tariff The Cranny at Ivythwaite cottages is available to book year-round, on a three nightly minimum basis. The apartment is available from 3.00pm on the on the day of arrival, (we can text you if it’s ready earlier that day) until 10.30am on the day of departure. In the interests of all our guests we regret that we cannot allow either pets or smoking at The Cranny.
