Description Welcome to Ivythwaite Lodge Ivythwaite Lodge is a B&B in Windermere which offers traditional Lakeland character and style in all of our beautiful five Bedroom. Ivythwaite Lodhe guest house offers a high standard of comfort in Bed & Breakfast accommodation in Windermere, Lake District. Drawing on the very best of The Lake District, it's beautiful scenery, great outdoor pursuits, local produce and friendly hospitality we have created the perfect recipe for a great holiday in this outstanding region- we are ideally situated just a short distance from both Windermere and Bowness, whilst offering our guests peace and quiet benefits from its proximity to Lake Windermere and the general hub of village life. Each of our B&B rooms are individual in character - with each offering spacious guest house accommodation - and room choice including a very comfortable double located on the ground floor – luxury King size four poster rooms providing the perfect romantic retreat - Luxury King with French mahogany sleigh bed - Superior king the largest of our rooms occupying the entire top floor and a favourite with honeymooners –Spacious Family Double with single can also be Twin - Our B&B rooms are Classic in style, tastefully furnished and well equipped offering - complementary refreshment tray - flat screen TV – Hairdryer – I-pod docking station & clock - free access to WIFI. All bed and breakfast rooms have full en suite facilities including in many, spa baths and power showers. Helvelyn (above right) Hand carved king size mahogany French sleigh bed, en-suite with large aqua spa bath for 2 people and power shower. Skiddaw (above left) Hand carved king sized four poster bed with posturepaedic mattress, en-suite with large aqua spa bath for 2 people and power shower. The Great Gable Deluxe Suite (above right) Lounge area, television with DVD player, super king size bed, En suite with power shower & luxury double sized aqua spa bath for two. Comfortable, romantic & very cozy. Can also be as a twin bedded.
