Description The only dry ski slope in the lake district Kendal ski clubs slope is 80 metre long x 35m wide. The lodge deals with bookings, memberships and ski hire. I had my first taste of skiing at Kendal. Back in those days, they used a hard white platsic material for the artificial slope. This encouraged good skiing simply because if you fell over it would remove several layers of skin. I can happily report that the material currently used is much kinder.
