Testimonial
"My family and I would like to thank you for your very warm and generous hospitality. Arriving in Ulverston at about 4 pm with a hungry 7 month old daughter, we weren't hopeful of finding anywhere we could all sit down to a meal together. Imagine our delight at discovering that you served up to 5 pm where as all the other hostelries started at 5.I'm not sure who the bar man was but he made us more than welcome. We had three steak and ale pies and one roast of the day. It's fair to say that just one of the steak and ale pies would have nourished all four of us.
What fantastic portions and not just slopped out, the steak in the pie was so tender it was melt in the mouth. The roast beef was melt in the mouth too. Once again thank you very much. We shall be back, perhaps not this holiday but we will be back."
Many thanks
