Kirkby In Furness

Kirkby-in-Furness is a village close to Broughton in Furness and within striking distance of the lake district national park and the market town of Ulverston. Kirkby overlooks the Duddon estuary and the mountains of the Lake District.

Consisting of six different hamlets: Soutergate, Wall End, Beck Side, Sand Side, Marshside and Chapels Kirkby is on the Cumbrian coast rail route and the village is listed in the Domesday book.
