Miller Howe offers true lakes luxury with commanding views of Windermere from the terrace, lounge & restaurant.Originally a summer retreat for a wealthy industrialist it was later owned by celebrated "tv chef" John Tovey. It is now in the capable hands of Martin & Helen Ainscough who have lovingly restored the arts and crafts original features and Miller Howe is now a classic Lake District hotel with a contemporary twist.

If you are looking for a lake district wedding venue, Miller Howe has to be on your shortlist. I got hitched at Miller Howe, and have no hestitation in recommending their services.

Yes and I stayed there a few times when Charles Garside had it and thoroughly pleasant it was too!
