Luxury Bed And Breakfast On The Outskirts Of Ambleside

Randy Pike was once a gentleman's hunting lodge on the Wray Castle Estate.
It has now been restored to it's former glory and offers sumptuous luxury accommodation for discerning travellers.
We are Andy & Chrissy Hill and we have a second busy string to our bow looking after our Grasmere restaurant The Jumble Room.
If you would like to dine there during your stay we will whisk you up there and back as it's all part of the service!
Our suites have been decorated to exacting high standards using local craftsmen and locally sourced materials wherever possible.

The Martindale Suite above has it's original pine floor and a wonderful Super King bed covered in Frette linen.
The suite has a large flat screen tv, i-dock and the bathroom is exquisite and nearly as large as Belgium!.

The Vallelay Suite has a Rococo feel to it and the grand bathroom features a double ended slipper bath to soak away the aches and pains of a day on the fells.
We hope you will enjoy your suite so much that you might not wish to venture out but if you decide to get some Lake District air we are handily placed for walks, attractions, and the villages of Ambleside and Hawkshead.

£200 per night Friday & Saturday
£180 per night midweek
Price includes a hearty locally sourced Cumbrian breakfast and there are complimentary drinks on arrival
