Stag and Hen Do ideas

We have a great range of activities for stag and hen groups. Whether you are looking for adrenaline pumping, full on action or a more relaxed, genteel stag or hen adventure, we have something for everyone. We find stag and hen groups enjoy Gorge Walking, Abseiling, Raft Building, Archery and Canoeing.
These all lend themselves to bigger groups and the latter three can work out cheaper if budget is an issue.  You can do up to two activity sessions a day, so you can either do 2, 3 or 4 sessions over a weekend, and we are happy to advise good combinations for your group.

We offer group discounts for any group with 8 or more people, to make your experience an affordable one for everyone.

We operate with a maximum ratio of 1 instructor to 8 people and activity group numbers are also limited by quality, safety and environmental considerations.  We enjoy taking big stag and hen group on our activities; we just make sure that they are done safely and to your advantage so that everyone enjoys themselves individually as well as together as a group.

We can help recommend local accommodation which you will need to book separately and we can provide packed lunches on full days of activities, just to make it all a bit easier to organise.

Take a look at our website – you can even book and pay online!

River Deep Mountain High are looking forward to welcoming your hen or stag group soon – come and have the time of your lives!

Current Testimonials
“Thank you very much both for your organisational help before our Gorge walk but also to say thanks for such a great morning on Saturday. All the lads had a brilliant time (including me) and the two instructors where thoroughly nice chaps and made our morning a really memorable experience.  I happily recommend you guys to anyone and intend on using you again to try some others activities in the near future.” - Matthew Bunyan, June 2011

“5/5 - Great fun, good challenges along the way. I think our instructor pitched it well for us, and bringing along the hot chocolate for half way was genius as some of the group were getting a bit cold. Thank you!”    Laura Imeson, April, 2011

Activity Experience (Pitch, Kit, Content):
- Gorge walking (lots of jumps requested) was amazing - it was nice to have a program tailored to us - 9 of us had a brilliant time and we all have agreed that we would definitely do it again (the 10th was from Trinidad and not a fan of the cold water!!)!  All the kit was well maintained and the hot chocolate at the end was a nice touch

Overall Value for Money:

- And finally, any other comments:
A big thank you to all the staff involved.  Amanda was light hearted and friendly in dealing with the booking, Johan, Matt and Jason were all very friendly on the day and whilst making sure we were safe were still - still made the whole experience very fun.  I would definitely recommend both the activity and the company and would do it again if in the area.  Thanks for a great day.”
