Accommodation All the rooms at Sawrey House have undergone a major refurbishment in January 2010 and eleven individually designed luxury boutique rooms have been created.Many boast excellent views over Esthwaite Water and Grizedale forest. The rooms feature stunning designer wallpapers, contemporary bathroom suites and imported wall and floor tiles. Features include: King size or super king size Beds, luxurious throws and pillows, complimentary tea and coffee trays, complimentary still and sparkling mineral water, Philips flat screen tv's, ensuite bathrooms, luxury bathroom products from Elsyl, steam free mirrors, hair dryers, luggage racks and direct dial telephones. Four Poster Rooms When it comes to rooms with a touch of romance how about the very top of the house in a lovely tranquil four poster room with a double ended spa bath in the window? Relax in the bath with a glass of champagne and admire the view over Esthwaite. A second four poster room is to be found on the first floor and enjoys really stunning views over Esthwaite water. Featuring a contemporary dark oak four poster and a chaise longues this is the ideal romantic hideaway for a pampering break. Superior rooms Superior rooms are located on the first and second floor of the hotel and all of them enjoy spectacular views over Esthwaite water and Grizedale forest. superior rooms have Queen sized beds and en-suite showers or bath/shower. Standard rooms Our standard rooms are spacious and available as twin bedded or super king size. All rooms have views of the hotel grounds and the surrounding forest and fells.All are with en-suite shower or bath/shower and all have been styled in an individual boutique fashion. The hotel was completely transformed in 2010 by the new owners and is a real gem. The lounge and dining room have fabulous views over the grounds to Esthwaite water and the standard of food and accommodation is excellent.
