Family owned and run, The Angel Inn is the perfect base to enjoy your Lake District break, being situated close to all the major lakes and tourist attractions and offering wonderful food, comfortable accommodation, great service and a fantastic selection of wines and beers in a relaxed and informal setting.

Eat
Formal or informal, light bites or full meals, a romantic interlude or in the company of friends, whether your 80 years old, or 8 months old, enjoy locally sourced and freshly prepared food, all day anywhere, inside in one of our lounges, conservatory or restaurant or outside in our terraced garden.

A morning brew, a lunchtime tipple, a couple of pints or an evening nightcap, Winter warmers by a real fire, summer thirst quenchers on a sunny terrace. Rooms
After a day on the hills or a night on the town, retreat to your own comfortable haven, 13 bedrooms all the same, but all different, all en-suite with flat screen tv, everything you would expect, and hoped for.
Within the main building rooms range from our 7 standard rooms with en-suite shower up to Room 1 with lake view, sleigh bed and newly refurbished bathroom with corner bath.
We also have 2 new rooms situated in The Gatehouse within the grounds of The Angel Inn including Room 14, our largest room with lounge area, lake views and stunning bathroom with corner bath.
Whilst staying at The Angel Inn all of our guest receive free usage of a local leisure club which has swimming pool, sauna, jacuzzi and gymnasium.
The Angel Inn is set in a great location just five mins walk from the Lake.
The Inn is really clean and comfortable and staff are extremely friendly and
helpful A warm welcome is guaranteed at the Angel. Great value for money and
highly recommended.
