Description The famous Anglers Arms beer festival at Haverthwaite in the south west Lake District. 13th, 14th and 15th March 2009 Up to 30 cask ales available Friday 13th March - Jam Session, if you can play an instrument, bring it along and join in. Saturday 14th March - Live Music with Bag of Spanners Plus ... 10 Pint T-Shirt Challenge  Food available over the whole weekend.    Travel suggestion: If you are based in Windermere or Ambleside, why not hop on a Windermere Steamer, sail down to Lakeside, take the Havethwaite Steam train and enjoy the beer festival without having drive or get a taxi.
