Description
The Howbeck certainly stakes its claim to be one of the premier small luxury boutique hotels in the Lake District.

It has numerous accolades including a place in the AA 5 star premier collection and is a member of the Best Loved Hotels Of The World.
The hotel has a bar,guest lounge and a PC with internet access.

Howbeck has 11 rooms including a four poster,super king and a "retreat" which your friendly webmaster reckons to look rather fantastic.

The rooms have wi-fi and DVD/CD for that extra splash of luxury, and talking of luxurious splashes, the bathrooms in certain rooms feature jacuzzi type spa baths and bathrobes so all you need is a sheepskin rug to luxuriate on post bath!

Needless to say there is the Cumbrian breakfast beloved of us locals which you can take before zooming back to the fells for a bracing trek.
