CHECK AVAILABILITY AND BOOK ONLINE HERE Ian and Helen Burt have combined over 30 years' experience in hotel management with the elegance of a gracious Victorian residence to offer de luxe B & B in a quiet but convenient corner of this lovely old Lakeland town. Ideal for walking, cycling, sailing or sightseeing for your holiday amongst the magnificent scenery of the Lake District. Pets welcome. Indoor heated swimming pool, sauna and hot tub, roof top terrace and car parking within the lovely wooded grounds all come together to help you relax in quiet surroundings close to the centre of Ambleside village. Bedrooms: All bedrooms are beautifully furnished and decorated. There are double, twin and family rooms. There are some rooms with king size beds, some with spa baths and some rooms on the ground floor.Rooms have colour television, DVD, video recorder, CD player, alarm clock, radio, hairdryer, kettle, mini-fridge, central heating and ensuite bath/shower and WC. A wide selection of videos is available for guests' use, free of charge.  Wireless broadband connection is now available. Breakfast: To set you up for the day : Cereals- Fruit Juice - Yoghurts - Fruit Bacon - Sausage - Tomatoes Baked Beans - Hash Browns - Mushrooms Eggs - poached, scrambled, boiled or fried Vegetarian alternative Toast, marmalade and jam Teas and coffees Hot chocolate, etc Leisure facilities:  You won’t find many B&Bs in Ambleside that have their very own heated pool. Fantastic for a leisurely swim, great for a ‘wake-me-up’ in the morning or ideal for a bit of exercise. Even the rain can’t stop you having a great time here. All guests are provided with bathrobes, slippers and towels (don’t forget your swimming togs). The swimming pool is open from 8am to 7pm. We also have a Sauna for those who like to turn the heat up; and a large hot tub where the bubbles soothes those pains away, particularly after that exhilarating walk over the fells. Tariff: All prices are per person per night (sharing) and include full English Breakfast & VAT. £45.00 per person per night (excl. main holiday periods) Four-poster, Deluxe and Junior Suites ~ please add £5.00 per person per night Superior rooms & Suites ~ please add £10 per person per night Weekends: please add £5 per person per night. Whether Friday/Saturday or Saturday/Sunday. 3rd night is at normal rate. Children ~ charged at half adult price when sharing with 2 full paying adults. Cots ~ £5.00 per night.
