The Swan Hotel is located at the very southern end of Lake Windermere. The river Leven flows past the front of the hotel, draining Windermere on its 8 mile journey to Morecambe Bay. The hotel is a favourite place for a summers day drink, sat outside at the tables by the river. 

The Swan is a 55 bedroom four star hotel. There are two restaurants, a spa, swimming pool, jacuzzi, steam room, sauna , gym, and even a helipad.

Relax in a stylish bedroom with crunchy duvet in Egyptian white cotton, Loccitane bath products from Provence and beautiful views of the river or woodland fells.
Standard Rooms include bathrobes, satellite TV, in-room movies, toys for children, mini bar, modem point and Wifi.
Junior Suites have a lounge area with sofa bed, two tv's and a jacuzzi bath.
Deluxe Bedrooms have all the facilities of a standard room, but in addition include Nespresso coffee machine, Ipod docking station and air conditioning.
The new family Potter Suite has two interconnecting rooms, a shared bathroom, all the features of a deluxe room and a Playstation 3.

Begin the day with a hearty Cumbrian breakfast including local Higginson's smoked bacon and free range sausage cooked to order and delivered fresh to your table.
River room offers food for all, casual dining with artisan pastas, pizzas from our pizza oven, salads and a sinful selection of home made puddings.
Our children's menu features high quality home made food and delicious local ice cream made from milk produced at a nearby organic farm.
In the listed tythe barn stylishly renovated in 2007, Roland offers modern English fine dining, taking advantage of the fabulous array of local Lakeland produce. Roland is a grown up space and is open on Friday and Saturday nights. ROLAND IS CURRENTLY CLOSED UNTIL FURTHER NOTICE.
The Swan Inn is open to the public every day offering delicious hearty homemade soups and sandwiches served fireside or riverside.

Weddings
In 2007 all Function Suites were completely renovated to maintain our position as the finest hotel in the Lakes for Weddings and Civil Partnerships.
Our glamorous Ballroom with original huge Georgian windows offering views over the river is perfect for your ceremony. Your wedding Breakfast can be taken in our elegant conservatory with roof top terrace. The Club Room's private bar, Bose sound system and fibre optic lighting will make your evening reception into a great party.

Conferences
The Swan is an extremely popular Conference venue offering day and residential packages for any number of delegates.
The conference areas were fully renovated in 2007 to offer extremely well presented rooms with the latest IT requirements. Delegates also have access to free wireless broadband throughout the building.
The prestigious and beautiful location is a great start to the day and you can be assured that our Executive Chef will not disappoint. We are able to provide a variety of room sizes and layouts to accommodate your requirements, no matter how large or small.
