Accommodation
All 50 of our spacious bedrooms have been thoughtfully designed to cater for a range of different requirements; an overnight stay, a holiday, a short break, a wedding party or a corporate event. Many of the rooms have outstanding fell views and all have beautiful en-suite bathrooms.
We offer four levels of accommodation:
Junior Suite - We have 4 of these rooms which each guarantee a stunning view of the surrounding fells. Each room has a king size bed, a large en-suite bathroom with a heated floor, fluffy bathrobe, locally made organic toiletries, free view television, hair dryer, trouser press, mineral water, Kendal mint cake, filter coffee machine and complimentary newspaper of your choice.
Executive - Each room has an en-suite bathroom with a heated floor, fluffy bathrobe, locally made organic toiletries, trouser press, hair dryer, free view television, tea and filter coffee machine, mineral water, Kendal mint cake and a complimentary newspaper of your choice.
Classic Plus - Refurbished to the same standard as our Classic bedrooms. The Classic Plus rooms also include heated bathroom floor, fluffy bathrobe, filter coffee machine, mineral water, Kendal mint cake and a complimentary newspaper of your choice.
Classic -Offer contemporary accommodation using natural materials, with a modern bathroom featuring locally made organic toiletries. All rooms include tea and coffee making facilities, trouser press, hairdryer and free view television.
Family rooms sleeping up to four people are available.
We have a pets welcome policy and pet owners should advise us on booking.
Pets are charged at £8.00 per night. Maximum 2 pets per room.

Dining
The restaurant itself is contemporary in design and has a wall of floor to ceiling windows which overlook the surrounding water feature and stunning fell views.
Our menus have been designed to provide a choice of traditional classics, some of which have a slightly modern twist. Many of the ingredients are chosen with the seasons and local producers in mind, therefore reducing food miles. Some however, are simply the chef's favourites from our award winning farm shop at Tebay Services.
In addition to this, the lamb and beef used within the dishes on our menus comes from our own farm in Orton, less than a mile from the hotel. The farm is run by Bob Day who ensures only the lambs and beef cattle in peak condition go to the abattoir. "I transport the animals myself to ensure they are relaxed and content - evidence proves low stress levels yield high meat quality". The meat is then taken to our own meat maturing and cutting room at Tebay Services southbound, where it is prepared by our team of butchers.
Together, these measures ensure maximum traceability, minimum food miles and consistent high quality.
The hotel restaurant is open for dinner, every evening from 6.30pm until 9pm.
