Description Wasdale Head Shepherds Meet and Show takes place annually on the second Saturday in October. The date for the 2011 show is 8th October. A real country show, featuring dog and terrier classes, Cumberland and Westmorland wrestling, crafts, hound trailing, fell races, and a beer tent. If you've seen "Britains Best View", now's your chance to experience a day out there. Head for the Wasdale Head Inn (shown on map) and follow your nose from there.
