Description
Ok it's not in the lake district, but it's not much of a drive and we wanted to keep the skiing in one place. Yad Moss has benefitted from lottery funding and the facilities have been upgraded. Not only is there a 560 metre Poma, there's also a day loge and ticket office, and the piste is maintained using two piste bashers. Operated by the Carlisle Ski Club, please see their website for further information.
