Lake District Shows

lake_district_shows.jpg

Country Shows and Fairs are part of the Lakeland heritage.

They are run by locals for locals but we don't mind visitors coming along to see our shows, in fact its a great day out for all ages whether it be show jumping for the little ones or Cumberland Wrestling viewed from the safety of the beer tent.

Most villages have an annual show with livestock and produce, crafts and a hog roast or two.

Might be an idea to wear your wellies though!
