Eating Out in The Lakes

Once upon a time the Lake District from a gourmet's point of view was a desert where stodge was the side order of the day. Happily much has changed, mainly due to local producers who take a pride in their food, so be it Woodalls Cumberland sausages or the Village bakery cakes, you can find great local food at an increasing number of excellent restaurants and cafe's in the National Park area.
