Restaurants in the Lake District

The Lake District is foodie heaven with restaurants which hold Michelin stars and offer fine dining in beautiful surroundings to reasonably priced establishments which specialise in home grown produce and dishes which are native to the Lake District.
Our main advice from experience would be to book well in advance during busy times and it is also worth pointing out that it can be difficult to find a decent meal in the afternoon after 2.00 pm for those of you who are late lunchers.
